You're a good fit.
But why should you trust me to take you there?
I'll tell you why.
I’m Adrian, the founder & CEO of JavaScript Mastery.
When I started coding, I was struggling. I turned to countless courses and books, but they only taught theory.
Nothing helped.
The courses left me confused, bored, demotivated, and helpless. They taught concepts…but none of them taught me how to use those concepts to make something real.
The result?
Many days I was unable to write even a single line of code. I was so close to giving up.
But...
After a lot of trial and error and unending frustration, I finally discovered the best way to learn to code. The answer?
I was missing hands-on experience BUILDING something. Something I made from scratch. Something I could test and change and debug and learn from. Projects that I, myself, thought of, developed, and owned.
Fast forward a few years.
I've taught millions of developers with project-based courses on YouTube.
And I personally mentored developers from being stuck to getting their dream jobs.
I created the JSM masterclass Experience to save you years of struggle and frustration. If you want to condense years of learning into months, code with confidence, create invaluable connections and get a high-paying job, this is for you.
P.S. You’re in good hands. I’ve been recognized as a GitHub Star. The GitHub Stars program features only the
Among 100 million developers, only 73 have gotten recognition given directly by GitHub for elite expertise and influence.

Masterclass mentees
Everyone else
Well... I wonder who gets the job.
Okay, but how do you do it?
You commit a minimum of 30 hours per week. It’s flexible and remote - so there’s no need to quit your job.
You develop real apps and mimic the day-to-day developer workflow.
All the while mentors provide direct feedback on how to improve by reviewing your code and meeting with you personally.
Proven, project-based curriculum
This is the main part of the Masterclass.
You will spend most of your time developing advanced apps. You will start solo and then get paired with another developer of the same skill set
You will develop 2 big full-stack applications and a portfolio project, if you don’t have one already.
And the goal of all this?
To simulate the day-to-day developer workflow and environment so you excel at your dev job.
Because nothing prepares you better for doing something than actually doing it.
And it's not just coding... You learn the entire development process.
Project management, agile methodologies and SCRUM principles.
We'll use Jira for task management, and GitHub for collaboration.
These skills will allow you to fit in with or lead teams of developers.
All this while getting 1-on-1 DAILY personalized mentoring from an expert mentor.
1-on-1 Mentoring Sessions
This means our mentors can give you special attention, immediate direction, and feedback to make you succeed.
Here mentors address your weaknesses and give you advice for you, and you only.
You will:
- engage in Daily Standups
- overcome any challenges
- get direct feedback, next steps, and guidance
- ask the mentor any questions you have
Code reviews
The best way to learn as a developer are code reviews.
It's direct feedback on what you need to do to improve.
But almost no developers are lucky enough to have a senior developer review their code and give them feedback.
Even though feedback is crucial for evolving from a junior to a senior developer.
Which is why...
In the Masterclass, mentors will review every line of code you write for the monthly & capstone projects.
They'll teach you how to refactor your code and optimize it.
Over time, you'll start to think and code like a senior developer.
But code reviews aren't the only way you'll interact with mentors.
Apps you'll build
- Learn to Build modern applications using NextJS from a team of experts
- Learn database design and build your apps with modern ORMs like Prisma
- SSR, caching
- Focus on“Building real-world features and components”.
How it works
Throughout the masterclass, you'll dive into practical projects aimed at not just introducing you to the latest tech trends but also reinforcing your foundational skills and filling any knowledge gaps you may have. This will be a transformative learning journey, as you are guided by a seasoned mentor who will tailor the experience to your unique needs and goals.
The first project you'll build
First, you will develop GitNote, a knowledge repository for developers. A developer’s second brain that allows you to track your learning progress and document everything you learn. With a contribution grid, global search, filtering, and tagging system, and the ability to store every new workflow, component or knowledge piece you learn. You will develop a comprehensive platform that you can personally use every day. How crazy is that?!
Here's what you'll be focusing on:
- Core concepts & fundamentals
- Cultivating a developer's mindset for success
- Guided mentor sessions for staying on track
- Structuring files and folders effectively
- Learn how to set-up a secure user authentication
- Implementing secure user authentication
- Building a full-stack application with mentor guidance
- Creating reusable code components for efficiency
- Create a reusable design system
- Enhancing your UI/UX design skills
- And plenty more insights to boost your skills!
Capstone project
For the capstone, you’ll work with another developer of your skill set as a team to develop DevToday, a content creation platform for developers. It offers a feed of dev news, podcasts, and events, keeping you up-to-date with the latest tech. It has interactive features like podcast audio playback, meetup maps, and more. You can think of it as the go-to developer community hub. Here, you’ll get the opportunity to master architectural design, enhance component reusability, and refine organizational strategies. This project deepens your problem-solving abilities, preparing you for large-scale development challenges.
Here's what you'll be focusing on:
- Advancing system architecture
- Implementing advanced features
- Mastering complex responsive layouts
- Advancing authentication methods
- Learning about metadata for SEO enhancement
- Collaborate with other developers
- Master git with PRs, code reviews & solving merge conflicts
- Use agile methodologies used by many big companies
- Developing large-scale full-stack applications
- And so much more!
Personal portfolio project
And when you feature these two on a modern portfolio with complete case studies? It’s game over for other devs trying to compete with you because you’ve already proved to employers that you can work with others and with modern tools that THEY ALREADY USE, like Git and Jira to develop an application of higher quality than they’ve seen before from a Junior or Mid Developer.
Career Development
Here in the Masterclass…
We treat Job search as a skill that can be learned.
Interviewing, networking, writing good resumes & CVs, building a standout social profile - these are all skills.
But most career advice is terrible.
“Just apply to 50 jobs per week”.
- I'm sure you'll blow the other 1000+ applicants out of the water just by applying a lot.
“Network with everyone.”
- So inefficient.
“Use ChatGPT to write your resume”
- Sure. It will be better than what you’d write yourself at this point in time. Because you don’t understand the point of the resume & the CV. Just like hundreds of other applicants who will use ChatGPT to write their resumes.
Our mentees follow a proven process to stand out in the sea of nameless applicants.

"Just a couple of years ago, I was in an Amazon warehouse lifting boxes. And with the combination of a little bit of effort on my side, your awesome YouTube content, the Masterclass.
Now I've gotten two salary increases in less than a year. And I'm working in a full remote position as a full stack developer.
And I have to give a lot of that credit to you and your team, and what you guys are doing at JavaScript Mastery."
Santiago Laight
Full-stack engineer
"At the very beginning, and especially if you've already had a bootcamp experience, it can be a little bit daunting. You're not really sure exactly what you're jumping into.
So, the one thing that I can say is that a bootcamp like this doesn't exist. The support that you get from the mentors, the things that you're going to be building, the technology that you'll be able to work with, and then the support for your side projects...
The end result of all that after six months is huge. I see the difference in myself and the code that I write."

Senior software developer
“The decision is personal. But it just depends on how fast you want to go. If you want to go fast, you better get a mentor.
I've been in the industry since 2014. I'm just trying to imagine, if I got a mentor those days, what could have happened to me?”
